Housekeeping Attendant

We're looking for a hard working, enthusiastic, diligent and reliable individual who is interested to work as a housekeeping room attendant for our quaint mid sized motel in Hope, BC.

 

Education:

Not required but High School is an asset

 

Experience:

Not required, looking for individual willing to learn and has some knowledge of general cleaning. Previous work experience in the hospitality field is an asset

 

Responsibilities:

Vacuum, clean, dust and polish guest rooms

Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries

Clean bathrooms and fixtures

Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests

Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets) as required

 

Skills and Abilities:

Work under pressure; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods; Bending, crouching, kneeling. Able to finish tasks on time.

Organization, Reading text; Writing; Communication; Working with others; Problem solving; Decision making; Critical thinking; Job task planning and organizing; Continuous learning.
